I've got something to show you! [And...well, they got invited to dinner tomorrow night. But that's not as important.]

[There's a grand tree set up in one of the rooms of the DR - or perhaps there's a private tree set up for you somewhere - with presents underneath. The labels aren't particularly clear when you try to read them and they won't be until the person they're from has given them to you!

[Lavi is seated back in one of the training rooms, pushing against one of the pillars with his still clean (new) sneakers, breaking them in as he takes a break from everything. Lavi had missed Kanda's birthday, he hadn't been here, so it was only fair that he put together something for the swordsman.
